Located in a small light industrial trading estate in Walthamstow, North East London, Dave Maher and his team create their magic for members of the scooter community across the UK and beyond. The London Scooter Bodyshop shares a massive two floor workspace & showroom with vintage scooter dealers/restorers, Retrospective Scooters.

Together, they have created a vintage scooter restoration mega store where you can get everything sorted out on your vintage scooter in one place.

Dave, the founder of TLSB, has over 32 years scooter sales and repair experience and 35 years experience as a scooter rider.

His career in scooter repairs started out with a 12 year stint at a London Piaggio main dealer.  After learning how to repair and respray scooters, he setup his own business and, for the past 20 years has achieved what most people dream of, turning his scootering passion and hobby into his everyday work.

As a result of this skill, attention to detail and passion, he has built up a very loyal following of customers and an envious collection of scooters too.  This currently includes four Lambrettas (including a Lambretta Li Special, 1967 race tuned 190), a 1965 Vespa GT, a Gillera Runner, three Vespa PX200's, a couple of Vespa ET2's and a few others too. 

Dave is also a member of The New Originals Scooter Club who are based in North London and he can often be found on their ride-outs or respraying/repairing/restoring scooters for club members. 

Working with Dave is a small team of respray specialists and together, they ensure that every bike leaves the spray booth in perfect condition. 

As a result of Dave's reputation, many scooterists travel great distances to have him work on their bikes.
